The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with essential amenities. the location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Being surrounded by beautiful nature and quaint farm animals added a unique charm to the experience.
Sadly, there wasn't much to do in the area during my Christmas stay. It was a bit disappointing as I had hoped for more festive activities or attractions.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host Rose, who attended to our every need throughout our stay. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely bathrobes and fluffy towels provided. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast, cooked individually and to a high standard by Rose. The oatcakes and granola were so delicious that we added them to our shopping list! We also enjoyed the beautiful garden and farm views, watching the birds and sheep while having breakfast. The attention to detail, from the homemade biscuits to the roaring log fire, made our stay extra special. we highly recommend this retreat for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious, individually cooked breakfast each morning, as well as the homemade cake waiting for us upon arrival. Plus, with amenities like a fridge, TV, and ironing board provided in the room, we felt truly at home.
There wasn't much to do in the immediate area for those looking for more activities.
